ad one of the funniest incidents of the day. I laughed. To keep the moment alive and let the joke live a little longer, I thought of sharing it with my close circle of people.
As we all live away from one another, I had to make calls to pass the joke along. Two of them didn’t answer the call, and three didn’t respond to my message asking about their availability. The one person who did take my call didn’t understand the joke either. Eventually, the joke died.
A joke that could have brought smiles and laughter to the world died simply because it couldn’t reach the right people, or because the ones it reached couldn’t connect with it. Anyway, the joke had died and will not be remembered.
